Its better if you do.If I where you I would apply for Embry Riddle.This is on of the best schools for the money.
Not cheap but,if you can get loans for this and support by other means ,you should do it.

Embry-Riddle does have a satellite campus at the Long Beach Airport, however you will end up paying far more than you need to in order to get your degree.
Check out Orange Coast College or Mount San Antonio College.
