I think you are talking about the montgomery G.I. bill, in which case you can qualify for roughly 40,000 dollars (through the Army) - and yes your spouse can use it. Speak with a recruiter about the particulars - but I yes your spouse can attend school with your college benefits while you serve in the military.

You can only send yourself to school, not your spouse. She will still have to pay her way.
