I am interested in going to college to pursue art and photography (photography as my major). There are many colleges that I am looking into but some of the campus’ don’t impress me. The campus is one of the most important factors in my decision. I am looking into SVA because it is my dream school but the urban setting disappoints me. I do not want to be enrolled in a college that has buildings dispersed around a city.

My dream campus is Princeton, if that helps clarify what I am looking for. Please help.
Thank you very much.

Princeton is really lovely, but there are other good schools with pretty campus’. Indiana University has a good art program and is a pretty place. Also, try Bennington and Bard, they have pretty campus’ and good art programs.

Have you looked into Berry College in Rome,GA? I believe some of the movie Sweet Home Alabama was filmed there. It’s campus is wooded and HUGE! (I think it’s 20k+ acres) It’s absolutely gorgeous! I just got back from visiting my parents in Rome. We went to Berry to take pics of my little boys because the campus is just amazing!
Edit- It’s actually in Mount Berry, Ga not Rome.

Try some of the liberal arts colleges. Swarthmore is absolutely gorgeous, and I’ve heard great things about Haverford’s campus as well. Plus, they’re likely to have very good arts programs.
